Funky Car - Groovy new background for car photograph

Funky background required for driver's birthday poster.

Apart from a little cloning and levels adjustments, the only work involved in creating these images was the masking of the car.
The backgrounds were created using the photoshop plugin Backdrop Designer from Digital Anarchy.

The top backdrop was my favoured one, though the customer chose another.

The original had a very prosaic background and a shadow across it - not ideal for a poster.

On the day, the customers decided that they would like a 5x7 inch print of the car with an alternative background. As the work was already done it was simply a matter of dropping various suitable backgrounds behind the car until one of them worked adequately.
I also took the very saturated colour from the front of the car and applied to to the rest of the body.
The original was shot on a sunny day (British style) and this is evident in the reflections on the car's body and the light on the subjects face. The increased saturation is therefore in keeping with the original lighting and also with the new background.
