Scanning Methods:
The methods that you employ when scanning your photograph can influence the amount of work that has to be devoted to repairing your image and thereby affect the cost.
If we judge that your image can be scanned in a more appropriate manner then we may ask you to re-scan your material. We will advise you on the best methods to employ when scanning certain types of photographs in relation to particular types of damage. This will save you money and ensure that your restored photograph is returned to you as quickly as possible.
If the silver within the emulsion of the photograph reflects the light of the scanner and you cannot provide us with a usable image, provision can be made for you to post the photograph to us. We can then employ whatever method and equipment is necessary to acquire an adequate digital representation of your material.

If you wish to use our postal service, please enter your email address in the box below and you will receive full instructions and advice on how best to send your photographic material to us by post.
